This new and updated version of the HPI E-Firestorm builds on the generations of success of the previous model and adds a 2.4Ghz radio system, waterproof electronic speed controller and waterproof servos!

The new E-Firestorm also includes a high voltage 8.4v battery and mains charger! HPI even include AA batteries for the transmitter!

The addition of HPI 2.4Ghz radio gear and HPI waterproof electronics take the hassle and worry out of running the HPI E-Firestorm. You can blast through puddles and wet grass without fear of damaging sensitive electronics, and the 2.4Ghz radio eliminates the need for crystals and massively reduces the chance of interference.

Yes, this takes standard 540 size motors.

Can this take 2s lipos ,and what battery connector is needed ?

It can take a 2s lipo, BUT I would not use a lipo with a brushed motor or you will be replacing the motor quite often.

If you plan to run lipo go brushless.

The connection will be a Tamiya.

What is the top speed out of the box and what is the possible top speed

Top speed out the box is around 30mph or so. By adjusting the gearing you could probably get another 5mph or so.

how long does it last once charged and how long does it take to charge.

On the stock battery and charger that come with the kit, runtime is around 15 minutes (depending on your usage) and charge time is around 6 hours.

If you go for one of our combo packs with a fast charger, charge time is reduced to around 45 minutes, and we offer battery packs with runtimes up to around 30 minutes.
