Yes, this will charge the NiMh pack from the Maverick Ion / Ripmax Husky no problem - you will just need an adapter lead such as ET0821

Does the Etronix Powerpal Auto Peak Detect Fast AC/DC Charger 4-8 Cell NiCad/NiMh have a Tamiya plug or Tamiya mini plug?
Asked by Dave Nelson on 27th November 2016

This has a normal size Tamiya plug. For mini Tamiya, we'd use adapter ET0821

Does the battery need to be fully discharged before charging on this unit
Asked by Asif on 23rd December 2016

No, you can charge a partially charged pack with no issue. The charger will cut off when the pack is fully charged.

Asked by Asif on 23rd December 2016

No - we'd recommend a maximum of 1.2 Amp charge for that battery.

Hi, how long will this take to charge a maverick Ion 1200mAh battery please. Also, so you sell a higher capacity battery for a Maverick Ion car?
Asked by Dan on 25th July 2017
We'd use the 1 Amp setting and it would take around 1 hour.
