FMS P51-B DALLAS DARLING ARTF w/RETRACT w/o TX/RX/BAT
The P-51B Mustang was the first Mustang to match North American’s sleek airframe with the awesome power of a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. It was this Mustang that gave the Allies their first truly capable bomber escort and Luftwaffe pilots their first taste of things to come. The P-51B is a single engine, low wing, long-range fighter. Its long range makes it ideal for escort purposes, and its performance as a fighter aircraft is better or at least equal to that of any enemy fighter that might be encountered. The cockpit layout is excellent, but visibility is poor on the ground and only fair in level flight. The 'Razorback' Merlin Mustangs P-51B and P-51C remained in service until the end of the war.
The FMS 1400 Series P-51B continues to lead from the front, it’s now a modellers model, with exquisite detailing and superb flying manners. Utilising on all the improvements made to the V7 Mustang, FMS have made this a dream to fly and easy to look after week after week. You had better be quick, this one is sure to sell out!
