All-in-one armament for multiple American aircraft.Today's military aircraft use a wide range of weapons to support their many roles in modern warfare. One weapon, the short-range AIM-9 Sidewinder air-to-air missile, has been a standard for over 50 years on fighters and helis. Others, like electronic countermeasure (ECM) jamming pods and hard-point launchers, became common fixtures on subsequent aircraft such as the Phantom II and F-18.
