The Duet is a good indoor flyer nice an slow. You can take it outside in a light breeze and it handles it we'll. Very sterdy plane and it is worth the money. LOVE IT

The plane itself comes with everything you need to get up and running - however you are quite right that it may be a good idea to get some spare EFLB1501S45 batteries andp erhaps some HBZ5308 props

These are a basic 3 channel design, so throttle up on the left stick, and steer left/right and up/down on the right hand stick.
There's not much more to it on these!
