The FTX Viper is a not your normal snake in the grass. This is a sand snake that captures the spirit of highly modified, super fast dune buggies trailing a path through the dunes of California.
Loaded with scale featuresthe Viper is a fantastic 4wd electric powered true scale 1/8th buggy, that will really turn heads before you gun the throttle and even more once it motors up to top speed.
The shaft driven 4wd transmission is mounted to a solid moulded tub chassis with metal-geared differentials front, rear and centre. The motor pinion and spur gear assembly is protected under a sealed cover for added reliability. Double wishbone suspension features adjustable top link steel turnbuckles throughout and aluminium oil filled shock absorbers with threaded bodies for fine-tuning spring adjustment. Front universal CVD driveshaft’s provide reliable steering whatever the turning circle, while the fully ball bearing supported drivetrain is efficient and smooth from the off.
Up top, a moulded tubular roll cage frame assembles to recreate that classic buggy appearance. Body panels screw to front, side and rear sections, whilstinside a moulded cockpit features driver and co-driver. But the scale touches don’t just end there as included as standard with the Viper is a spare rear wheel and tyre, front light bar with lenses and rear lenses all just waiting for you to installed some optional LED lights!
A splash resistant-brushed speed controlled provides the control for the 550 brushed motor and when paired with a 2S 7.4V LiPo battery is an ideal speed for new modellers finding their feet in the world off road r/c. FTX Viper, where speed and scale meet.

Yes, you could technically use it - however we wouldn't recommend using a soft case LiPo in a car.
