Is this good for an axial SCX10 full aluminum frame ? at what specs should I look for a crawler?
Asked by Edforceone on 13th October 2019
It's a cheap and cheerful combo that will work fine in that - but it's not a crawler system.

I'm looking to fit new speed controller and motor in my old 1984 Hotshot (tamiya 1/10th off-road 4wd). Someone suggested limiting it to a 13t would be a good idea (old gearboxes etc). I already have new TX and Rx and have a new NiMH 6 cell race pack. would this combo suit. I'm not looking to race it and not looking to overpower it. Runtime would be an advantage.... if this is suitable what benefit would there be to switching to lipo in terms of run time?.and that being the case do you know what lipo option might fit in the batter space of the hotshot. Thanks in advance.
Asked by Tim Watts on 31st May 2020
Yes this should fit fine in that.

I'm looking for a motor/esc to power a Absima 1:10 EP Truggy AT3.4KIT 4WD. What can you suggest? Budget is an issue. Just to be used for fun not racing.
Asked by John on 28th September 2020
As an entry level system, this would do the job and fit in that vehicle.

hi, i have a arrma granite 550 mega brushed, i want to upgrade it to get more speed and power out of it what is the best cheapest brushless esc and motor combo to buy.
Asked by James on 8th March 2021
Best and cheapest are not the same... but these are a cheap and cheerful brushless setup which would fit. They are a bit underpowered really for a short course truck though.
For something better take a look at say HW38010203

What would be a rough speed with a 2s lipo thanks

Very hard to say - there are a lot of variables...
These are a budget entry level system , so likely around 30mph or so

I have a Hpi Jumpshot and I want to make it brushless. What power system would you recommend for under £70?
Asked by Michael Howard on 11th April 2021
For that budget this is about the best you'll get. You could really do with more power in a truck like that - but this will fit.

Does it come with the dean’s connector already attached to the esc ?
Asked by Zach Quigley on 16th August 2022
No they are not soldered.
Answered by: Steve W @ Wheelspin Models
How do I connect the motor to the esc?
Asked by Jimmy on 23rd January 2023
This comes with 3 gold bullet connetcors that need soldering to the ESC motor wires, once this is done you can plug the motor in to them.
