Asked by Billy on 13th August 2017

Yes, that would work well in a Strada XB

Yes, that would be ideal in your firestorm.

what power connection does this esc use?
Asked by C Mcconnell on 19th January 2019

These come without a connector so you can solder on whatever you choose.

Hi What size is the output shaft on the et0430 please?
Asked by Mark Clingo on 28th September 2019

These have a 5mm diameter shaft

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Would this be ideal for a traxxas 2wd rustler running on 3s and sometimes 2 s and what kida speed could I expect out of it
Asked by Nathan on 29th April 2020

It would do 2S, but I think 3S would be a push.

Would this fit a tamiya dirt thrasher? I want to upgrade it to 2 or 3s lipo.
Asked by Michael on 17th July 2020

We do not list that car sorry so am unsure on that one.

Answered by: Anthony @ Wheelspin Models

What to upgrade my sons rustler 4x4 xl5, is this similar power to the velineon 3500?
Asked by Adam on 21st August 2020

No, the velineon is more powerful

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Thanks Ben, can you recomend a brushless/esc combo which gives similar speed/power as the Velineon 3500, thank you ????
Asked by Adam on 21st August 2020

Something like HW38010201 is likely close in power to the velineon

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Would this work on a Tamiya Dark Impact running a 2s Lipo? If not what do you reccomend
Asked by Matthew on 29th March 2021

Yes that should work - might be overkill...

Just bear in mind these are 5mm motor shaft so you'd need a new pinion

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

I'm looking a replacing the motor and esc in my 1/10th scale buggy. They both came out of my old car which was a Caster S10B, no longer made. Would this be a good upgrade for my buggy.
Asked by Martin on 31st March 2021

Hard to say for sure as I don't know that buggy - but yes these are standard 540 size so likely to work.

Just bear in mind these motors have a 5mm shaft so you may need a new pinion.

Asked by David Ecclestone on 29th May 2022

No that will be slightly too wide and the shaft size is 5mm not 3.2mm you would be better looking at this

Morning will this assembly fit in my trx4 defender ? Thanks Darren
Asked by Darren on 31st October 2022

We would not advise this system for a rock crawler, look at something like this HW30120402

Answered by: Si @ Wheelspin Models

Hi, Can i use nimh/nicad instead of lipos? I am looking at using it on the tamiya m08. Many thanks
Asked by Roger Hayne on 18th November 2022

Yes you can use any of those battery types on this system, please be aware that NiMh batteries will not give the same performance as Lipo batteries.
