This is the Kyosho Multi-Starter Box 2.0. The Multi-Starter Box 2.0 may look similar to other starter boxes...after all, they are all "boxes". But the details are what seperate the Kyosho Multi-Starter Box from the others. It doesnt have all the useless bells and whistles that are included with some starter boxes, but it is the best at what it is supposed to do - starting your nitro powered car or truck!
The Kyosho Multi-Starter Box 2.0 features dual fan cooled, high torque 550 motors with a belt driven gear reduction. This gives it exceptional torque for starting even the most stubborn nitro engines fresh out of the box. This design produces more useful torque than single motor boxes with gear reductions, and especially more torque than big direct drive starter boxes with freakishly large motors. They are impressive looking, but they produce very little torque and they are difficult to use. Combined with a 55mm hard rubber starter wheel which is much smaller than those in most boxes, not only does it produce even more torque, the starter wheel is able to reach higher up into the chassis opening, allowing the Multi-Starter 2.0 to start a wider variety of engines over a larger range of installations than any other starter box. Lastly, the Multi-Starter includes instructions for pin placement on top of the box to accommodate a majority of the vehicles in the Kyosho line up, as well as vehicles from a variety of brands.
