For most track conditions and most drivers, we found the 22SCT 2.0 to be best in the rear-motor configuration, and thus, the kit only includes the parts to complete the truck in rear-motor. For higher grip tracks and more experienced drivers, a mid-motor configuration 22SCT 2.0 will perform better and yield quicker lap times. All of the parts that are needed to build the 22SCT 2.0 straight into mid-motor configuration are included.
The conversion kit will also work to convert a 22T kit to mid-motor configuration with all of the 2.0 battery mounting pieces included. If converting a 22T RTR, TLR4161 which includes the mid-motor wing stays will also be needed as well as the mid-motor specific truck body, TLR8059.22T and 22SCT Mid Motor Conversion Kit Features:
