These new PUCK drive systems for the CAT K1 Aero and Cougar KF are now available, one for standard gear diff configuration and one for the optional ball diff system which some drivers prefer on low traction surfaces.

MIP have this to say about the systems:

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

MIP would like to introduce the drive system of the future, for the Cougar KF; #14275 MIP ‘SHINY’ PUCKS™ SYSTEMS!!!! This particular system is new to the MIP Puck™ line, as it is a bi-metallic kit that features lightweight ALUMINUM diff outputs as well as durability tested modified steel bones and axles. It made sense to make the outputs even lighter to help and reduce rotating mass. With the added benefit of the steel bones they will hold up to the punishment of the modified motors while taking minimal wear on the components. Overall with the Puck™ system equipped, no longer will diff outdrives and CV bones wear simultaneously, all that is needed is to easily change Pucks™ when necessary, and the drivetrain stays tighter, fresher, longer. This added benefit equates to less money, less time off the track for rebuilds, and keeps your vehicle more competitive.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES:
  • Less overall wear on drive components
  • MIP CVD™ Binding Characteristics
  • Less Rotating Mass

FEATURES:

  • Replaceable Pucks™ to keep drivetrain fresh
  • CVD™ Construct
  • Lightweight diff outputs compared to OEM
  • American Grade Materials Used
  • 100% Quality Made in the USA!
