1:144 Ki-61 IJA "Tony"
The Ki-61 served the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force as a high altitude fighter interceptor. The Ki-61 was code named "Tony" by the United States Navy and Army Air Force fliers that flew against it. The aircraft was well regarded as a potent adversary but proved inadequate to reverse the course of the war and prevent the final defeat of Imperial Japan in 1945.
