What powers the receiver ie if I use this with an ESC in a car application, will the power from the ESC's BEC be OK or does it need separate receiver batteries?
Asked by Pete on 27th August 2017

Your ESC will power the receiver.

Can the volantex ex6 and ex7 transmitters be used with cars ?
Asked by Mike on 24th April 2019

Technically yes - they are air systems but would work in a surface application.

Just bear in mind you will have movement in both directions on the sticks, which will be a little weird!

What protocol does the Volantex Radio use? Would it be compatible with the Radiomaster WT-01 trainer dongle? Thanks
Asked by Ian Parker on 7th August 2022

As far as we know it will not be compatible.
