HOBBYWING EZRUN MAX6-V3 ESC SPEED CONTROLLER

Built with the most rugged and high-quality components and coupled with cutting-edge firmware, the EZRUN MAX6 is able to deliver unmatched power and performance for even the most hardcore of racing applications, but is also responsive enough to protect itself from damage due to overloading due to physical abuse, overuse or even human error. This ESC is applicable to various 1/6th & 1/7th scale vehicles like the Traxxas XO-1, and also suitable to various 1/8th scale heavy vehicles like the CEN GST-E. It's the ideal option for high-end aggressively powered builds.

With incredible acceleration capabilities and a rock-solid, stable output, the MAX6 can handle instant full-torque start-ups for wheelies, high-speed racing on straightaways and powering through the bumpiest terrain. The user will have the choice of adjusting the ESC parameters as per his preference and ability.

The MAX6 has adopted the world’s first HV built-in BEC with an output current of up to 25Amp and a switchable output voltage of 6V-7.4V. The high voltage BEC is designed to handle today’s high voltage servos on demand used by large scale vehicles. The MAX6 also features an electronic switch with a lifespan of over 50000 on/off cycles, housed in a completely waterproof, dust-proof and shock-resistant design.

The MAX6 is built with internal anti-spark circuitry that protects not only battery connectors from damage but helps to prevent physical injury due to burnt fingers from the inevitable issue of sparking when hooking up the ESC to higher voltage battery packs (5S/6S/7S/8S).

The waterproof and dust-proof design allows the MAX6 to be used in all weather conditions without any issue of damage caused to the ESC from water or dust

Easy and effective upgrade over Traxxas item. Better tuning options by far, more power and smoothness. Can be programmed by wifi with the hobbywing wifi adapter which i love and use for all my ESCs

If I was to buy the Max 6, could I have traxxas connections pre soldered on?. Thanks Gavin

Hiya I was just wonderin I’ve brought the new Traxxas xmaxx 8s , and the esc keeps shutting down on it , was just wondering will the max 6 esc go straight into my car without any changes!
Asked by Russell Ely on 27th January 2018

This wouldn't be powerful enough for the 8S X MAXX I'm afraid

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Will this fit 6s x maxx. And is it plug in and play.
Asked by Craig on 8th April 2018

We'd recommend the Traxxas ESC, however yes this should work but please ensure to keep an eye on temperature and gear accordingly.

It will require appropriate connectors soldering on.

Asked by Andrew Robinson on 4th January 2019

Yes,  that should work well ina a Hobao MT - but as ever, just keep an eye on ESC + Motor temperature and gear accordingly.

Could I use this in an arrma nero with a tenshock X802L V2 6 POLE MOTOR 1750kv
Asked by Ben Weetman on 13th August 2019

We don't sell that motor (it sounds like one of the chinese unbranded ones?) so we can't really confirm.

However - if it's a standard 1750kv motor then yes I would imagine it will work fine with this ESC

Hi, would this be suitable for the traxxas xrt 8s?
Asked by Jason Roff on 3rd September 2023

This would work with the XRT but you may need to work out how to mount it, as it will not screw to the traxxas mounting points
