I recently received my sons Arrma Raider XL mega brushed rc car, my question is, if I was to buy another for myself would they interfere with each other's frequency, or can it be switched, so two separate frequencies?

Yes, these would run together with no problem. No additional setup is required, they will automatically select a free frequency.
