The new T6L Sport from Futaba has been designed to be the perfect entry level 6 channel radio, with everything that is required included, but without the costly extras that generally are not needed with most normal models.

Benefiting from Futaba’s legendary quality, the 6L Sport is ideal for almost any model, having a full 6 channels (with a switch and rotary knob) so enabling flap, retract or other auxiliary functions to be operated by the pilot, whilst reversing switches ensure that the controls all work in the correct directions, and the included “V tail" and “elevon Inch mixes means that even advanced and unconventional models can be flown.

No, however its easy to change the mode yourself - should be a 5 minute job

hello futabas new t6L transmitter can you use a 4.8 receiver battery in the transmitter is there a plug for the lead to fit into in the back battery compartment is the transmitter for foam models alike or can you use it for ic models ect seagull 40 ect reguards ian graham this is a futaba T6L TX thank you

No , there's no charging facility with this set . Best would be rechargeable AA's , guess it was part of the idea to keep manufacturing cost as low as they could.

It will work fine with electric or IC models...

They don't offer a gate, but I guess you could make one.

You may do better with a car system such as say P-CB2HR

The receiver is normally powered by the BEC from the ESC ( on an electric model )

Or a seperate RX battery pack plugged in to it ( for nitro/ petrol engines )

That is a flight transmitter so will not work this one will work fine PLAT02101
