Wireless IC
The Detrum GAVIN-6A 6 CH digital transmitter adopts powerful wireless chips with an extended power amplifier (PA) and low noise amplifier (LNA), which maximizes the system output power and receiving sensitivity, thereby improving the signal coverage.
All-angle antenna
By using an all-band gain antenna for the transmitter, the transmitting efficiency is greatly improved. Utilizing a diversity antenna combined with the signal detection and switching algorithm, the receiving signal is stable and reliable.
Long distance remote control
Adopting a 2.4GHz Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) and multiple frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS), the Detrum GAVIN-6A 6 CH digital transmitter has high receiving sensitivity and strong anti-interference capability, can support a stable remote control link to your aircraft for more than 3,200 feet on the ground and more than 5.000 feet in the air.
Mixing function
The Detrum GAVIN-6A 6 CH digital transmitter supports V-tail and Elevon mixing functions with a one button toggle switch.
High-resolution sticks

Hi I have not flown radio control aircraft for many years but am looking at starting again and building a glider, i am also looking at buying the dynam dectrum gavin 6a transmitter and receiver you sell, the question i have is if i was using this receiver on a glider and so not using a electronic speed controller which port on the receiver would i plug the power supply into, as i do not see a port for the battery on the receiver, or can this receiver only be used with an esc?

You can plug a battery into any spare channel, and it would power the other servos no problem

Does the Detrum Gavin 6A have a fail safe mechanism?

This is a flight handset so will have throttle hold on it yes, but not a failsafe to return to neutral or brake.
