Do I need a new ESC if replacing this motor with the stock. Pls advise.
Asked by Riaan on 11th August 2019

That depends what you already have fitted. If you have a brushless motor already, then this will likely run with your ESC, but we'd need to know what ESC you have.

If you have a brushed motor/ESC at present, then yes you will definitely need to upgrade to a brushless ESC. Something like HW30108000 would likely be fine.

Is it waterproof?
Asked by Austin Mair on 6th August 2020

Motors are inherently waterproof - best to clean and dry thoroughly after wet use though
