You can use a mains plug or a 12v battery to power the Mistral.

Would this charge a hrb 6000mah 2s 7.4v lipo and also a goldbat 4500mah 6s 22.2v lipo?
Chris / 4th June 2023

This would work yes, as long as the batteries have the correct connector.  However due to the Wattage Of the charger it would take a while to charge the 6s battery.

This would be a better option for you  ET0202

Can I charge 7.2 v Nimh battery pack using this? If yes what settings
Bill Bamra / 21st February 2023

Yes this will charge NimH batteries, you would choose the NimH setting then set the amps depending on the Mah of your battery

lets say 3000Mah so divide by 1000 = 3 so charger to be set at 3amps

Si @ Wheelspin Models
Does the Radient Mistral charger come with a lead that can plug into a car cigarette socket.
Graham Wells / 3rd November 2021

No this does come with a croc type clip for a direct battery connection.

Anthony @ Wheelspin Models
Will this charge a Voltz 5000mAh Hard Case 14.8v 4S 50C LiPo - Deans
Patrick Graham / 2nd October 2021

It will yes but with the charger being a 5.0a charger it will be running at full power with a 5000 Mah battery.

Anthony @ Wheelspin Models
what setting would you put this on charging a 3cell
Rory / 13th May 2021

That depends on the capacity of the 3S pack.

For a 3000mah, charge at 3A, for 5000, charge at 5A, etc

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
