It will not work as they say on the specs

NOTE: The STX2 and MRX200 utilize the FHSS 2.4GHz protocol and are NOT compatible with Spektrum DSM, DSM2 or DSMR transmitter or receivers.

I’m new to this RC generation. Can I use this speed controller to replace Chinese 2.4ghz all in one speed and RC circuit board that burns out. Want to use the same remote but upgrade to 8.4volt battery’s I have.
