    Do the leds have built in resistors

    Unsure - however they plug directly into this unit, there's no soldering/setup required

    Will this function with a steering wheel 6 channel transmitter. every video I've watched used a stick transmitter. thanks

    I don't see why not - this box of tricks doesn't know what transmitter you have, it's just receiving a signal from the receiver
