Beautifully side-stepping the CAA's new Drone and Model Aircraft Registration and Education scheme (effective 30th November 2019) Sonik RC's new 4-function Sport Cub looks and flies every bit as well as a far (far) larger model, yet only carries a fraction of the weight. In fact, at 57g all-up it comes in almost 200g under the CAA's benchmark 250g registration requirement. In isolation that particular advantage isn't overly impressive however what makes this Cub rather special is the fact that it's so solid in the air, even in a breeze. Equipped with a finely tuned, switchable, 6-axis gyro stabilisation system this little model laughs in the face of turbulence and will have you utterly amazed by its speed range and STOL performance. Offered at a pocket money price, ready to fly, with everything included in the box, the versatility of this model for both indoor (sports hall) and outdoor (small field) flying is almost limitless. Put one on your prezzie list, get a group of friends together and get flying the best looking, best performing little high winger you've ever experienced.
Spanning a suitcase-friendly 500mm, supplied with a four-channel 2.4GHz transmitter, single cell LiPo battery, USB charger and spare propeller, all you'll need to buy is 4 AA batteries for the transmitter. Get one and enjoy the best R/C bang for buck you've had in ages.

Reviews
Just arrived and it’s look fantastic.. already tried all the functions and Works very well.. good luck to me for the first flight !!!!
Superb micro plane. Flies really well and good for new pilots. Batteries last between 8 to 10 mins comfortably. No regrets on purchasing this model.
This is all you need for a beginner RC plane! Don't be put off by the size. The gyro works beautifully, just take your hands off and it straightens up. My 12 yr old son and I got one each and we both flew first time ever with absolutely no problems. Brilliant plane and great service from wheelspin as always
My brother's have always been in to RC flight even before gyro stabilization was a thing. I've never flown an aeroplane but practiced plenty on the simulator. I couldn't justify the £ for some of the awesome Esky models that require extras to get going. So after some research I came across the sonik range. Not only do they come with everything you need for a good price, they are also lovely scale models that are well made. All spares are available, so I bought a load (all came next day delivery) expecting to crash alot on my first few flights. Flew twice today, wow what an enjoyable experience. No crashes, I was literally doing loops and rolls on my second flight.....totally hooked! Highly recommended for a beginner like me!

Questions & Answers
Usually around 10 mins or so depending on flying style.
I wouldn't recommend fitting larger batteries as the extra weight will throw you off - but landing and swapping batteries periodicallyis no bad idea to give your mind and eyes a quick break :-)
