This wuld work but may be a little slow as this is a brushed motor, you may be better with something brushless maybe like this MV15020MT80
From the box this will do around 20 - 25 MPH
I'm very sorry but these are a ready to run car so we would not remove any of the items from them. you wopuld possibly be better loking at a kit build kar something like. HC-58370
Yes, you can use 2s lipo on this car as long as you ste the lipo cutoff on the ESC
Most 2.8 wheels/tyres would fit these.
Something like PL10125-10 would be a popular chunky tyre
These have a pistol grip transmitter - with a wheel and trigger (as do all cars these days).
You could change it easily enough if you like to a twin stick set such as CB2HR
Yes any 7.2v NiMh packs will work fine
You could fit any standard brushless combo to these.

The electronics are water resistant. So yes, I wouldn't submerge it - but the odd splash should be fine.
