The T-62 was developed as successor of the widely used T-55 and entered service in 1961 with the Soviet Army. Main armament was a 115mm smoothbore gun with a fire rate of 4 rounds/min. Until 1975 appx. 20.000 T-62 were manufactured and took part in many conflicts, such as Afghanistan, Yom Kippur, Gulf War, Syria, Libya and others. Kit consists of 344 parts.
