Designed specifically to be the perfect R/C co-pilot, the Vector Flight Control System sits waiting in the wings (not literally) ready to be employed when you need it most. Three transmitter-controlled flight conditions are available. In Stability Mode the unit automatically returns your aircraft to level flight when no control inputs are detected. This is perfect for beginners and instrumental in correcting mistakes that have the potential to ruin your day. Switch to Dynamic Mode and full control of your model is regained, the Vector assisting only to reduce the effect of turbulence, resulting in significantly smoother flying characteristics. Finally, Direct Mode switches the Vector off, allowing you to experience a flight without electronic intervention. Suitable for both S.Bus and PPM control systems the Vector is a small, lightweight, fit and forget unit that lies between your receiver and servos and promises to simply and effectively improve performance and correct mistakes.

Hi, is this vector 6 Spektrum compatible please?
Asked by Andy on 5th April 2023

Yes this will work with Spektrum but we would recommend using the spektrum reciever with the AS3X in it SPMAR637T

Answered by: Si @ Wheelspin Models

Hi. if the SPMAR637T has built in AS3X why would you need the Vector 6 please ?
Asked by Andy on 28th April 2023

You would use one or the other , 2 gyros would work against each other.

Answered by: Steve @ Wheelspin Models

thanks for clarifying Steve. (see below) so is this gyro Spectrum compatible with a standard RX please ? Yes this will work with Spektrum but we would recommend using the spektrum reciever with the AS3X in it SPMAR637T Answered by: Si @ Wheelspin Models
Asked by Andy on 28th April 2023

yes that will work fine with a standard none as3x safe receiver.

Will the 6 axis flight controller work with just throttle rudder and elevator servos i.e. three channel control
Asked by Spencer on 25th June 2023

yes this would work just having the Rudder and elevator plugged in .

Answered by: Si @ Wheelspin Models

Can this be used with helicopters
Asked by Stuart on 27th July 2023

This could possibly work but the system programmed for separate Arrows models, it is very basic and does not have channel reverse, the chances of it being set up correctly for a heli is remote. We would not recommend this for heli's.

What wind speed is this rated for?
Asked by Gaz on 26th September 2023

This information is not supplied by the manufacturers as this is designed for the bigfoot which is quite a slow plane.

Answered by: Steve @ Wheelspin Models

Hi guys, Will this suit any aircraft or is it specifically for the Arrows Bigfoot? I guess what I’m saying is, is it programmable. Cheers, Phil
Asked by Phil on 27th September 2023

That is recommended for the bigfoot only , we would suggest this as a more universal alternative FMSREF001

Asked by Ian Lauder on 15th November 2023

Yes it will but it is only really suggested for certain planes and is quite slow , most people tend to use the reflex system instead FMSREF001
