They don't quote an RPM on this sorry
Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Can a remote be connected to these
Barrie / 29th July 2020
I guess you could setup something with a relay of some kind... but it's outside the scope of our support

Something like 5508130 should work well
Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Is the engine starter compatable to start a small nitro engine on a trainer plane. INFORMATION REQUIRED BEFORE I BUY ONE.
Francis Coogans / 10th April 2019
Yes, these would normally be used to start nitro engines in planes.
Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Hi, does this motor come with a switch? And could a variable speed switch be fitted to it?
Thanks, Allan
Allan Mackinnon / 13th August 2018
The switch is combined into the handle on these, so it spins as you squeeze.
Hmm, you'd need to lower the voltage to change the speed - either through some kind of voltage regulator or ESC....
Ben @ Wheelspin Models
how many amps does the JP Power Torque II 12v Starter Motor use , at full speed ?
How long can it be run at that speed ?
Thanks
Peter
Peter Thys / 18th February 2017
Apologies but we don't have that information... These are a generic starter motor ideal for nitro engines. Constant use (say over 60 seconds or so) would not really be recommended.
