Does this also put the engine into idle if the Rc goes out of range or the radio fails

You can set these to go into brake or idle if the car is out of range or the transmitter batteries are flat ,the only thing this will not do is apply the failsafe if the batteries in the car fail as there is no power to apply the brake.
