Start your nitro R/C engine effortlessly using this new Roto Start with powerful 550 motor. Insert the 6mm shaft with hexball tip into the new Torque-Slip design backplate receptacle to start your engine. The torque slip back plate features a specially design 'slip' unit to avoid possible damage should the engine lock up.
Fits 12mm hex one way bearing and features 27mm hole spacings
Tech Note: Starting any engine should be done in short, sharp bursts. These are NOT designed to be "held on" for more than 15+ seconds at a time - doing so will cause heat build up and gear damage.

It will, but there is work to be done to make it work.
It will bolt onto the engine with no issues at all, but, the backplate hits the chassis, so the engine has to be shimmed up around 2mm, not a job for a novice, bit it is achievable

Force .46 isn't one we've tried... If it's a Force 4.6 (4.6cc) then that should fit based on our experience.

Hi i'm looking for a roto start type starter my engine is a vx18 with 12mm one way bearing the spacing of the holes for the backplate are 27mm across the top and top right to bottom left is 27mm, do you have any starter that would do.

FAST565 can fit the Carnage with some modifications... So might fit the Torro, however - it's not something anyone here has tried or would recommend. We would therefore ere on the side of caution and say that they're not compatible.
