Why do we keep wearing out the teeth of the main spur gear 52T?

That depends, if you're taking just a small amount off the top of each gear, it's likely your engine isn't meshed tight enough.

If you're taking a chunk out in just one spot - that could be because you've picked up a stone or similar, which is just bad luck I'm afraid!
