This is my first 4 channel plane after flying an ares taylorcraft 130. Having as3x and safe is fantastic thankfully I haven't had to use safe as the plane is so easy to fly. Most definitely an ideal beginners plane as I have progressed to intermediate mode and have even had a fly in expert (all within one weekend) I have tested safe just to make sure it does what it is supposed to and it works perfectly. As3x has really surprised me with how great it tackles the wind and gives a really steady flight.

Hi, Is this a bind and fly plane like it states in the description? or does it come with a receiver?
Asked by Raidersheen on 14th July 2017
This is indeed BNF (Bind n Fly) so it does come with a receiver - you will need to bind it to a Spektrum DSMX transmitter.

Hi. What is exactly the battery connection type these planes use? Also what upgraded battery would you suggest that will fit this plane to extend flight time? Thanks.
Asked by Dave on 28th October 2018

These use the mini E Flite type connector.

In terms of batteries, the stock EFLB1501S45 will usually give around 10 mins or so depending on your flying style.  They are cheap and cheerful - so well worth taking a break after 10 mins to quickly swap over.

Is it a brushless motor?
Asked by Colin Bassham on 10th February 2019

No these use a brushed motor.
