The ever popular WOT 4 ARTF has been given a makeover for 2016, the primary aim being to make it suitable for either I/C or electric power. Its strong, lightweight balsa and ply structure is supplied expertly factory built and finished in heatshrink film, so the WOT 4 Mk2 ARTF is flight ready in minimum time. The model comes complete with durable aluminium undercarriage, pre-painted fibreglass cowl and comprehensive accessory pack including wheels, linkages and more!

A large hatch with a spring loaded locking pin has been installed in front of the wing to allow access for flight battery changes. Alternatively it also makes access for fuel tank and receiver battery installation simpler. A ply battery mount/tray system is available, which makes battery changes quick and easy while ensuring that the battery is properly secured. To choose between EP or IC power you just need to purchase the relative optional hardware pack that suits your chosen power source.

In adition to structureal changes the model has been finished in a bright new color scheme in common with the latest Chris Foss designs. This bright and attractive new scheme aids with orientation and makes you model stand out at the flying field.

In the air is where the WOT 4 excels... it can be flown at little more than walking pace under full control and then push the throttle open and you're rewarded with a sparkling aerobatic performance. One word best describes the WOT 4. Versatile. With reduced throws it's the perfect follow on from a trainer. With the recommended throws it's the perfect sports model with loops, rolls, flicks and spins being well within its repertoire. Experienced pilots will want to increase the throws further and, when fitted with a powerful engine at the top end of the recommended range, the sky really is the limit! With terrific vertical performance this highly aerobatic model will satisfy the most demanding pilot.

Is there a better stunt model? We don't think so!

Hi. How big propellor do I need for Quantum II 40 Brushless . Wot 4 Mk2 elektric.
Inge Arve Aam / 19th August 2024

You would run this one E-CF020/13

Steve @ Wheelspin Models
What does the wot4 need to complete?
Vincent Edwards / 20th June 2024

That would need the Optional Power Pack for either IC or Electric plus all electrics (transmitter, receiver, servos, battery and charger) and /or and engine if using fuel or an esc if using electric.

Steve @ Wheelspin Models
which servo would be best for wot 4 mk 2
Philip Rawcliffe / 25th October 2023

These are very popular in the wot 4's 2213190 but it just needs standard size servos so most will fit.

Steve @ Wheelspin Models
What servos do you recommend for the WOT4 (I /Cpower)
Calum / 19th December 2022

Most people use four of these 2213190

Steve @ Wheelspin Models
Can you give me a price on the wot 4 plus servos plus esc plus brushless motor, i already have lipo batteries Regards Andy
Andrew Smith / 20th July 2020

Sure, so for electric setup you'd want:

Radio set, your choice... perhaps a Spektrum DX6 or better SPM6750EU

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
From my previous question regarding the thumper 720kv which you said would be ok Could I also use Overlander 80a esc and 14.8 volt 2200 battery
Martin / 22nd June 2020

Yes, that should work - however battery is a bit low capacity wise. Recommended is approx 4500mah

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Would this be ok with an Overlander thumper 720kv
Martin / 21st June 2020

yes that should be OK

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Hi what engine would you recommend and does the engine come with a muffler. Thanks
Scott / 14th May 2018

Something like L-OS15490 would be ideal and comes with a muffler.

Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Hi what would I need to buy to make this plane fly would like to install a petrol 2 stroke engine
Daniel Maguire / 9th July 2017

This requires all radio gear and your choice of power system - i.e. petrol or nitro engine, or electric motor.

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Does this plane come with electric motor
Barry Scrivner / 18th April 2017

No, you can choose to run it on either electric or nitro power.

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
What else do I need to get in flying? And how much would a good quality radio be, including 2 batteries and a charged? Many thanks. Richard
Richard Kidd / 9th April 2017
You'll need radio gear, servos, and your choice of power plant (electric or nitro) and the hardware kit to match. As a rough guide, you'd need another £150-200+ to get this up and running.
