Well I can honestly say that this battery is fantastic! and put my other 2s Lipos to shame. It came full charged and ready to be used so that was a bonus. The Power that this battery delivered is outstanding, Great run time 40/45 mins, this wasn't flat out all the time mind, but I wasn't holding back when given the chance. Great value for the money. It brought my 1/10 FTX outlaw and Carnage to life. Highly recommend these batteries.

does he need a stronger charger or eTronix PowerPal Pocket 2 LiPo Balance Charger is it enough?

That would be OK as a basic charger, but something better would be say CR161 or ET0204

Yes, these are a great midrange pack.

The VZ0317 are very similar, they have an ever so slightly higher C rating, but the difference is negligible.
