Great 1/10 buggy.. couple of minor issues.. the aerial is positioned above the prop-shaft so take care as excess length can rub on the shaft all the time .. also the bottom righthand corner of the roll-cage fouled the battery retention clip when lowering the body twisting it . As it is difficult to get in to deflect the cage around it while lowering the body I bent the head of the battery clip up to give clearance.. also the cage front right lower corner fouled the tub but can easily be pushed in after fitting to sit properly. I hope these tips help as it is great value for money and excellent service from Wheelspin as usual.

How fast can it go can it run on lipo
Asked by Martin on 12th March 2020

It all depends on the voltage, but on a 7.4 which is recommended it should be able to do around 35 mph.

No

how long does the battery last and take to charge
Asked by William Smith on 9th June 2020

The stock battery will take around 8 hours to charge on the stock charger and give around 10-15 mins runtime.
If you go for the better batteries/chargers in our combos, a 5000mah would give around 25-30 mins runtime and take around 45-50 mins to charge on a fast charger.

Can you put a 3s battery in it
Asked by Toby on 3rd December 2020

No this is not a car to run an 11.1 lipo on, it's just too powerful for the drive train etc.

Answered by: Anthony @ Wheelspin Models

Hi, can you chop and change different parts to change the look of the vehicle for example It looks too me like the chassis for the strada XB, RX and DT are the same so in theory can you have the xb buggy but decide to add a front/back bumpers and rally shell like the RX?
Asked by Daniel Mcvee on 22nd June 2021

Yes, in theory that's possible - you could take a look in the parts explosions and fit the required parts. They share a lot of common items

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

hello.. just received my Mavick Strada DT.. it seems to run a lot of toe-in on the rear.. is that adjustable or is it set like that for a reason.. thanks. just looks like it is going to scrub the rear tyres pretty quick if run on tarmac..
Asked by Kevin on 2nd February 2024

This is factory set and non adjustable, the toe in on the rear helps to keep the car going in a straight line.
