HOBBYWING COMBO MAX10 ESC 3652SL 5400KV MOTOR

Built with high-quality components and coupled with cutting-edge firmware, the MAX10 is able to deliver unmatched power and performance for even the most extreme racing applications, but it is also responsive enough to protect itself from damage due to overloading due to physical abuse, overuse or even human error.

The MAX10 features an electronic switch with a lifespan of over 50000 on/off cycles, housed in a completely waterproof, dust-proof and shock-resistant design.

The waterproof and dust-proof design allows the MAX10 to be used in all weather conditions without any issue of damage caused to the ESC from water or dust.

The built-in switch mode BEC with a maximum output of 6A and voltage adjustable between 6V and 7.4V allows the use of various high voltage servos.

When pairing the MAX10 with a Hobbywing matching motor (i.e. EzRun 3652/3660 G2 motor), the temperature sensor cable on the ESC will monitor the motor temperature and protect the motor from irreversible damage due to overheating in real time.

Hobbywing EzRun MAX10 ESC Features:

Would this Brushless set up be able to replace my brushed set up on my jumpshot st v2? And if it would would it come with deans connectors?

Getting back into rc cars after a 30 year break! Would this combo be good for a cat xls rerelease?
Asked by Ant on 30th July 2020

It would fit and work well - but you'd want to make sure you have the U7236 transmission upgrade in the CAT XLS to run a high power motor like this

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Can i use 3s lipo with this setup?
Asked by Darren on 3rd January 2021

In theory yes, however it's a high KV motor so would need to be a very light chassis and geared accordingly so as not to cook the motor/ESC

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Hi Could you supply the combo with deans connectors please?
Asked by Geoff Gostage on 3rd March 2021

Afraid we don't have these with deans pre-soldered

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

what would you say is the best motor here for 2s drag racing?
Asked by Alex on 11th March 2021

I guess for drag racing you want the higher KV motors such as this.

Just keep an eye on temperatures and gear accordingly

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Hi, what battery connector type is fitted to this ESC?
Asked by Tim on 2nd June 2021

These do not have a connector fitted

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Is this suitable for the Tamiya TT02?

Would this combo suit a Kyosho turbo scorpion?
Asked by Roger Clemo on 22nd November 2021

Yes this would be great , just run this car on a 7.4v and not an 11.1v battery.

Answered by: Anthony @ Wheelspin Models

Hi, looking at this bundle for my FTX vantage as I want alot of speed. Just wanted know the main differences between the other hobbywing 1/10 bundles and which one u would recommend for atleast 60mph+
Asked by Lewis on 29th June 2022

That will only run on 2s lipo and will get very hot i would look at this  HW38010203

The main difference between the 3660 combos and the 3652 is the 3660 motors have 5mm shafts so you will not find a pinion gear to fit those and work in the carnage the 3652 have 3.17mm motor shafts aso all you pinions will fit on that.

Answered by: Steve W @ Wheelspin Models

Looking for a max10 set up that will work in a tamiya plasma edge 4x4 could you point me in the right direction please will i need to go for a lower kv as the trucks heavier and 4x4? Ie 4000kv? What would you recommend? Or would you recommend a totally different motor set up? Would like to stick with hobby wing if i can. Many thanks connor
Asked by Connor Doran on 9th November 2022

Yes for off road use we would recommend a KV rating no higher that 3500 with that car.

Have a look at HW38010203

Answered by: Si @ Wheelspin Models

Would this combo fit in my Associated RB10
Asked by Steve on 20th January 2023

This would fit and work in that car, the ESC is on the larger size so you may need to get it positioned in a place to get the bodyshell on the car.

Answered by: Si @ Wheelspin Models

Would this motor comb be ok for a Associated RC10B6.4 Team Kit?
