The StuG.III Ausf.B is the most recent subject to receive Dragon’s impressive Neo Smart Kit treatment in its 1/35 scale kit range. Armed with a short-barreled 7.5cm StuK.37 gun of L/24 caliber, the 20.2-ton assault gun was widely used by Sturmartillerie batteries in campaigns such as the Balkans as well as in the invasion of Russia. A total of 320 StuG.III Ausf.Bs were built by Alkett from June 1940 through till May 1941. This 1/35 scale StuG.III Ausf.B is proud to be a member of the Neo Smart Kit class. A critical feature of Dragon’s Neo range is the remarkable Neo Smart Tracks. These feature pre-molded lengths of track to make life easier for the modeler, as well as individual links that allow appropriate sagging effects to be achieved. The upshot is that painting and finishing are simpler. This Neo kit boasts a full fighting compartment interior, including the complete gun that features rifling on the inside of the barrel. All details are authentically reproduced via sophisticated injection-molded and photo-etched parts. This perfected kit raises the Ausf.B variant of the StuG.III to a completely new level!
