As the 4274 sensorless motor has been discontinued can this one be used with the Max6/Max8 which are sensorless ESC’s

No its is sensored only the equivalent motor for your esc is this:

Will this work with the Traxxas Sledge?

This is a sensored version of that motor, so would not work on the standard ESC.
