FTX ROKATAN 1/10 BRUSHLESS OFF ROAD RTR CAR - SAND
When the roads have been destroyed in a post-apocalyptic world the Rokatan could be the savior as you drive across wasteland in the quest to survive. Ok, it’s a little dramatic for an R/C car, but you are free to let your imagination run away as you think about escaping biker gangs and tyrants with the new 3S powered 4wd Rokatan from FTX.
With a weathered effect matt sand finished V8 inspired muscle car body the moulded centre chassis design, raised for improved ground clearance, along with fully independent suspension enables you to leave the road behind and motor across the wildness with ease.
The Hobbywing brushless speed control and 2500kv motor, coupled with the supplied 3S 3500mAh Lipo battery provides amazing speed for a super driving experience from a model of this size via the 4WD shaft design and front and rear metal geared differentials.
Front and rear shock absorbing bumpers and skid plates, hidden inside the bodyshell provide out of sight protection. Aggressive treaded pattern tyres, wider on the rear for extra traction are mounted to 8-spoke wheels and include a functional spare.
All topped off with an LED roof bar for night-time forays, the Rokatan is ready for you to take on anyone that wants your rig!

This RC car is great and I love it. I drive it across mainly grass in the area around my home. It's very fun to operate. It does like to flip over quite easily and flick everything from its wheels under the outer shell and onto the chassis.
Wow the car I always wanted! As a person of a certain age I got back into RC a few years ago and went the standard Tamiya 1:10 route. As much as I have enjoyed the hobby, there was always something missing. I saw a Youtube video of the Rokatan and ordered one straight away! OMG I am so impressed. The size is 1:10 XL but this doesn't do it justice. The size is almost 1:8. It is 100% RTR (or 99% because you have to add four AA batteries for the transmitter). The standard motor is good, acceleration is amazing. I have a higher rated motor which I will try soon and it will be scorching. The back end does squat under acceleration and the front lifts, so I will, be looking at up-rating the rear suspension to stiffen it up. I have rolled it a few times and the body hasn't marked anywhere. I have ordered an unpainted body from Wheelspin (and a second battery which were both very reasonably priced) and will be doing a Mad Max II replica. In summary. Great car. Great fun. Really good value for money. Great service from Wheelspin. A very, very, very happy young man! Paul aged 54 1/2
