Today we are going to unbox the Huina articulated dump truck and take a look at what you get for what seems a really cheap price.

So the first thing to note is that the box that it comes in is actually really nice, it's well presented. It looks like it costs more than it does and I think for the most part the whole Halloween arranges like this so most of them come in quite a well presented box.

After taking the model out-of-the-box the second finger notice was there doesn't appear to be a paper instruction manual inside, I did double check all of the packaging to make sure that there wasn't one in there and what I did find is if you flip the box over so you can look at the bottom side of the box the instruction manual is actually printed on the bottom of the box so bear this in mind before you throw it away dispose of it 'cause you may need it later.

The dump truck itself considering it's quite a cheap model actually looks really well made, the detailing with the Huina logos and Huina grill on the front look really smart it's all there it's all together nothing is broken which you know he's quite common for a lot of the cheaper models that you'll get broken parts straight out-of-the-box however that's not the case on this occasion.

The transmitter that comes with this model is quite basic and bear in mind this model isn't proportional so for your steering and you throttle you have simply got left right forward backward you've got no control over the actual speed or how much it turns the hunter is also got a button to turn on or off the lights along with the sound and then as far as I can tell there's two buttons on the back which actually articulate the bed of the dumper truck for obviously we'll have to wait until the charge to see if that's the case.

The battery that comes included with the model is a 900mAh 3.7 Volt lion single cell battery it also includes a USB charger which will connect to a PlayStation or an Xbox or even into the USB mains adapter now according to the instructions the full charge time for this is 3 to 4 hours.

The battery insert underneath the main cab of the model you will need a Phillips screwdriver to undo the small screw that holds the battery cover in place, when you remove this there is just a little JST connector that pokes out of the front of the cab and this is where the battery will plug into when it's ready to use once you've plugged the battery in, then put the battery cover back on and put the screw back into the battery cover to ensure it stays in place there is then a little on and off switch which is obviously how you turn on the model.

Overall for the money this seems to be a a decent bit of kit but obviously we won't know until we probably all in test it and see how it drives but I think as a as a cheap toy for a birthday gift for a family member particularly like a younger child this would be a fantastic option to look at they recommend ages 8 and upwards for these however we have seen key to youngest four and five using them obviously adult supervision is always involved with any RC car regardless up until their in their later teens at least so bear that in mind thank you for reading hopefully soon I'll get it powered up and test it and we'll see what it does hopefully it performs as well as it looks.
