Glueing wheels and tyres
Have your wheels and tyres ready on the bench, use a solvent cleaner to clean the bead of the tyre and the wheel, making sure that the area for the glue is clean.
If you have foam inserts fit them into the tyres now and make sure they sit correctly, then mount the tyre onto the wheels. Make sure they sit on the wheel correctly.
Start by holding one wheel and start on the back of the wheel. Hold the wheel in your hand and gently push the tyre off the rim so there is a small gap between the tyre and the rim.
Then use a little glue and put it into the gap made between the wheel and the tyre, the glue will run round slightly, that's ok.
Rotate the wheel and tire 90 degrees and repeat the process, on the wheel you should do this four times and you will have covered the full circumference.
A tip here is to do the backside of all four wheels then once these are done you can move to the fronts.
This gives you 4 practice runs before you are glueing the side of the wheel that you can see.
