How fast does it go out of the box? How long does the stock battery take to charge with the stock charger? How long does the stock battery last?
Asked by Ashton Khan on 13th March 2017

Top speed is around 25mph or so.

Runtime on stock battery would be around 10-15 minutes with a charge time of around 6 hours.

A fast charger would charge the battery in around 1 hour, and larger capacity batteries will drastically increase runtime.

Does the race package allow the RC to go faster or have a longer run time?
Asked by Ashton K on 29th March 2018

Both packages contain 7.2v NiMh batteries, so it won't go any faster, it will just run longer on say a 5000mah battery than a 3000mah

Can this take a 2s Lipo? If not what’s the best short course truck that can compete with the Traxxas slash?
Asked by Ashton Khan on 1st April 2018

Yes, it can take 2S, but is fitted with a Tamiya connector.

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

How fast would this go on 2S?
Asked by Ashton Khan on 4th April 2018

We'd estimate around 30mph or so.

If I had the tamiya converter could this take an 8.4 voltage BATTERY?
Asked by Ashton Mhan on 7th April 2018

Yes you can fit "straight" 8.4v packs into this.

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

How long do they run for on a single charge please what is the price of lipo battery and charger to fit. Also what is the top speed plrase
Asked by John Davies on 7th March 2019

That depends what battery you go for... But as a rough guide we'd expect around 15 mins on a 3000mah pack, or around 25 mins on a 5000mah pack.

We list several combos for this car, with a choice of either LiPo or NiMh packs :-)
