The New Generation of a Legend
The 4th Generation ND model of the dynamic and lightweight 2-seater Mazda Roadster (MX-5 outside of Japan) thrilled sports car fans around the world upon its release in 2015. This is an R/C model assembly kit depicting the car. From the powerful-looking front fenders to the slimline rear, the MX-5 body is captured breathtakingly in 1/10 scale lightweight polycarbonate. Side mirrors are provided as separately molded parts, while window frames are depicted using included marking stickers. Masking stickers are also included to help when giving your model its paint job.

M-05: Low Center of Gravity, High Performance!
The front wheel drive M-05 chassis features a lightweight, narrow, durable, and縲easy-assembly semi-monocoque resin frame. Gearbox, motor, battery pack, receiver, servo and ESC are positioned for optimum weight distribution and a low center of gravity. Ground-hugging 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension and the 3-piece steering linkage provide stable high-speed cornering. Gun metal color 11-spoke wheels are matched with tread-patterned radial tires and feature tire inserts.

The Tamiya R/C model faithfully captures the fun and maneuverability of the real life subject as it comes on the proven M-05 M-chassis platform. The M-05 is a simple to build FWD (front wheel drive) machine, which allows for plenty of after-market parts to be outfitted as you grow with your skill. The lightweight, narrow semi-monocoque frame offers an optimized weight distribution and a low center of gravity. A ground-hugging 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension and a 3-piece steering linkage ensure excellent stability during high-speed cornering. 

Three wheelbase lengths (210mm, 225mm, 239mm) are possible by simply switching the position of the rear suspension parts, enabling a wide range of body choices available from Tamiya.
