What we collect:
We may collect the following information:- Name and contact information including email address and phone number

- Other information relevant to customer ordering and account management.
- If you collect an order from us in person, a record of that collection.
Click and collect
If you collect an order from us, we keep a record of the handover: the confirmation you agree to on the handheld, your signature, the date and time, and CCTV of the collection. We cannot release goods without a signature. See "CCTV and collection records" below.
What we don't collect
- Payment card details.
- Human readable account passwords.
What we do with the information we gather:
We require this information to process your order, understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:- Internal record keeping.
- Order processing and customer account management.
- We may use the information to improve our products and services.
- We may contact you by email, phone, or mail regarding in order to ensure you receive the items you have ordered.
- We may share your name and email address with Reviews.io so you can leave a review of our services.
In addition, if you opt-in to our email newsletter we may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in these emails, or by amending your preferences in the 'my account' section of our website.
Our lawful bases for using your information
UK data protection law requires us to have a lawful basis for using your information. Ours are:- Our contract with you - taking, processing and delivering your order, handling returns and refunds, and running your account.
- Legal obligations - keeping sales and VAT records for as long as HMRC requires.
- Our legitimate interests - running and securing the shop, protecting our premises and stock, keeping collection records, preventing fraud, and inviting you to review your order. You can object at any time.
- Your consent - our newsletter and our abandoned basket reminders. You can withdraw it at any time.
Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. These include but are not limited to:- Use of secure SSL on all website traffic
- Use of secure passwords and access restrictions to servers and databases containing customer data
CCTV and collection records
Our premises are covered by CCTV. We use it to protect our staff, our customers and our stock, and to deal with disputes about orders collected from the counter.
Where you collect an order, we keep the signed collection record and the CCTV of that handover together as the evidence for your order. It is held privately, is never published on this website, and can only be viewed by select members of staff.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests: confirming that goods went to the right person, resolving disputes and preventing fraud. You can object at any time using the contact details below.
Collection records are deleted automatically after twelve months. Other CCTV is kept for a limited period and then overwritten.
How long we keep your information
- Order records - five years from the date of your order, after which they are deleted automatically. Accounting records that we are required by law to keep, such as VAT records, are held separately for as long as HMRC requires.
- Your account - until you ask us to close it.
- Collection records - twelve months, then deleted automatically.
- Other CCTV - a limited period, then overwritten automatically.
- Marketing preferences - until you unsubscribe. We keep a note that you did, so we do not contact you again by mistake.
How we use cookies
We use cookies to help identify your computer so we will be able to tailor your user experience, track shopping basket contents and enable the ordering process. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website including the shopping cart.We use cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart including when you have abandoned your cart and this information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS.

- Payments - Stripe and PayPal. You give your card details to them, not to us.
- Delivery - the carrier bringing your order, currently Royal Mail or DPD.
- Advertising and analytics - Google, Meta, Microsoft and TikTok, whose tags measure how our website and our advertising perform.
- Our own service providers - the companies that host our website, send our emails and keep our accounts. They act on our instructions only, and cannot use your information for their own purposes.
