It’s designed to be capable of smooth hovering plus scale-like and sport flying for intermediate pilots, yet is also capable of aerobatics and even mild 3D in the hands of experienced pilots. The expertly-tuned FC6250HX flybarless control system includes optional-use SAFE technology for angle limits and automatic self-leveling to help prevent crashes in Normal mode, and no limits in all other flight modes – plus Panic Recovery to “bail out” at the push of a button if you ever need it! The powerful brushless main and tail motors are connected to a Spektrum Dual Smart ESC that delivers real-time telemetry data to AirWare™ equipped transmitters, and they’re compatible with common and popular 3S 2200–3200mAh batteries. Digital, metal-geared servos, an aluminum head block, and carbon fiber main rotor blades deliver reliable and precise control for the factory-assembled airframe. Skill Level 2 aircraft, like this one, are suitable for RC pilots with some experience and the skills to assemble and/or set up and fly similar class models. Although the Eclipse 360 is equipped with optional-use SAFE technology, it’s not a suitable first-ever RC helicopter for new pilots or “next step after a trainer” model for low-time RC pilots. You should have the experience and skills necessary to successfully fly Collective Pitch (CP) helicopters like the Blade 230, 330, Fusion 360, or other similar class models before attempting to fly the Eclipse 360.
