Most SCTs use the 2.2"/3.0" tyre standard—pair with your favourite short course tyres and foams for the surface you run. Be sure to match wheel hex size and offset: 12 mm is common on models like the Traxxas Slash, while some platforms (e.g. Arrma 4x4) use 14 mm; a few race kits may run 17 mm. Check your manual for hex size and any specific offset requirements.

Tips: vent your wheels or choose pre-vented rims for wet conditions; beadlocks make tyre swaps easy; reinforced designs from RPM are ideal for heavy bashers; ProLine and JConcepts race wheels keep rotating mass low.
