will this work on my ftx outlaw?
Asked by Morgan on 21st July 2020
Yes this will work on your car.

Hi
I can see this article contains the motor, the ESC and the programming card.
I am looking at upgrading a Brushed FTX carnage and was wondering if this solution was Plug-and-Play or whether it needs additional connectors/soldering. For reference the Carnage comes with a Tamiya battery connector and the motor being brushed, has only 2 bullet connectors
thanks
Asked by Frederic on 19th January 2021
These will still need soldering up.
For a "plug n play" solution (with deans connectors) the 2120002 may be better for you?

I want to upgrade my outlaw to brushless motor and ESC - is this compatible and require no further modifications (ie. simply swap out current brushed motor / ESC - or require to upgrade anything else?)
Asked by John on 14th February 2021
Yes this is compatible with that car - but you would need to solder on connectors.

will this take HPI-106401 battery
Asked by Ryan on 21st June 2021
No, I would stick to 2S max in these

What is the minimum and maximum C rating this ESC can take ?
Asked by Morgan on 23rd September 2021
There's no "maximum" C rating for any ESC. I'd suggest a minimum of say 25C should be fine for a basic system like this.
