The bearings in the Carson Bearing Set DT-01 replace the stock plastic bushings in your Tamiya DT-01 chassis (e.g., Grasshopper, Hornet, Mad Bull). They fit into the wheel hubs (front and rear) and the gearbox to reduce drivetrain friction, increase speed, and improve battery run-time.
The 10-piece set includes the following sizes:9 x 1150 Ball Bearings (5 × 11 mm):
These replace the bushings on the front and rear axles where the wheels mount, as well as the main internal gear components inside the gearbox.1 x 850 Ball Bearing (5 × 8 mm):
This smaller bearing is specifically placed on the gearbox layshaft (the smaller secondary gear shaft inside the transmission case).To install them, refer to your model's manual to locate where each plastic bushing is seated in the uprights and transmission housing, then simply pop these bearings in their place.
