The Centro Electronic Magnetic Switch C0685 is a contactless power control module for RC models and other electronics. It uses magnetic switching instead of mechanical contacts, allowing the model to be switched externally without repeatedly unplugging the battery or removing a hatch.
The switch accepts an input voltage from 3.5V to 13V and provides a continuous 15A output at 25°C. It can handle peak loads of up to 45A for 0.1 seconds, while its 60mV dropout voltage at 20A helps reduce power loss. Standby current below 10µA helps limit battery drain while the model is prepared for use.
Features
The compact module measures 25 x 10mm and is supplied with one male and one female receiver plug, each connected using 150mm wire lengths. Its small format allows it to be positioned inside a receiver box, helping keep the installation sealed from dirt and water. External magnetic operation is suggested for sealed RC installations, including boats, rally cars, aircraft and other models where access to the battery connection is inconvenient.
