Description

Evergreen's 12 x 24 V-Groove Siding Sheet, part number EVG12025, is supplied as a pack of one white polystyrene sheet with .020in thickness and .025in groove spacing. The sheet has a V-shaped groove profile designed to represent vertical siding, tongue-and-groove timber or architectural cladding in scale modelling and scratch-building projects.

This sheet measures 12 x 24 inches, equivalent to 300 x 600mm, and uses a .64mm groove spacing. Its white surface can be finished with acrylic paint to create wood-grain or metallic effects, while the polystyrene construction allows the sheet to be cut for model-making work. The profile is also suitable for creating wall sections, scenic backdrops and other detailed surfaces where a repeated siding pattern is required.

The .020in gauge provides a sheet format for applications where a thinner modelling material is specified. Cutting can be carried out by scoring and snapping, helping produce shaped panels and mitred corners for scratch-built structures. Evergreen also produces V-Groove Siding Sheets in other sizes, thicknesses and groove spacings, but this EVG12025 version is the 12 x 24 format with .025in spacing.
