The Evergreen 14in (35cm) Square Tube .312in (5/16in) (2 per pack), part EVG255, is a pack of two square polystyrene tubes for scale modelling and construction projects. Each tube has a white finish, a square profile and a 350mm (14in) length, providing a consistent section for creating box sections, structural columns, industrial frameworks, architectural mullions and chassis rails.
The square profile has crisp external corners and consistent wall thickness. The hollow centre can be used for internal routing of wiring or for adding thin structural reinforcement. The tube can be cut, drilled and mitred for model-making work, while liquid solvent cement can be used to join polystyrene sections. Its white surface also provides a base for acrylic paint and weathering techniques when representing steel, concrete or timber box sections.
