Evergreen 14in (35cm) Strip .010x.040in (10 per pack), part EVG102, is a pack of 10 white polystyrene strips, each 14in (35cm) long with a .010 x .040in profile. These strips are intended for scale modelling and scratch-building, where they can represent linear details such as structural bracing, trim, framing and architectural mullions.
The polystyrene material is suitable for cutting with a craft knife or by scoring and snapping. It can also be sanded to alter the profile or heat-formed to follow subtle curves. Liquid solvent cement can be used to join the strips to other polystyrene components, creating a cold-welded connection. The white surface can be painted with acrylic paints and used with weathering powders.
